Agreed, these were subject to some excellent hype with very little merit. While these are ok, not spectacular at keeping drinks cool, the straw and easy to spill factor is off the charts for these.

Seems like the kind of product that would be high risk for getting a fake if ordering from Amazon

Ozark is a good value brand for $10-15 everyday
I always liked easy to clean Contigo on clearance for $8-16

Anything but Stanley, didn't they test positive for lead? Surprised people kept buying. Been using Hydroflask for over a decade.

Its all personal taste, Stanley was the hype train. Ozark trail makes some decent budget stuff. Peronally I like the Camel Bak Stainless. They are really leak proof, simple easy to wash, fine in the diswasher, priced fairly and with a company that stands behind their products.

It depends on what you are doing with it. This isn't a spill proof cup. If you are using it in your car and on your desk…don't spill it on yourself. If you are trying to throw it into a backpack, well that makes no sense.Get a bottle with a screw down top.

I think that Stanley works pretty closely with Amazon, Target, Dicks, etc on these items. The only issue that I had is that Amazon does NOT handle the 20oz water bottles well. Two of them came dinged up. I haven't had issues with the other models.
