I got my Gigabyte 5070 from Best Buy for MSRP a month or so ago. BB a good option to look at for $550 5070 👍🏼

RGB are the lights for visual effects. I could not get the non RGB as they were sold out, so I got the RGB for 30 more

TBH I think its reflective of the disappointment with this generation. You literally have to reach back to the 30s series to justify upgrading to a 5070. If you have anything better than an RTX 3070 even $550 is hard to justify. I would not pay over $450 for a 5070.

In today's GPU market this is decent performance bump for someone at mid range nvidia 3000 / AMD 6000 series level who needs an upgrade now. 9070 / 9070 XTs aren't looking like they are going back to launch MSRP anytime soon and anything better has a terrible markup.

I upgraded from a 6700XT (~3060 to 3060Ti performance) to an Asus 5070 (also at MSRP) and ran the Monster Hunter Wilds benchmark before/after.

on an i9-10850k / 32gb system at Ultra settings

6700XT: 1080p = 66 fps, 4k = 34 fps
5070: 1080p = 85 fps, 4k = 60 fps

I subsequently got a 5700x3d to test as well and 1080p + 5070 went to 99 fps. 4k didn't change with between the 5700x3d and i9-10850k, both 60fps.

I picked this up a week and a half ago. Upgraded from a 3060 ti. Doubled frame rates at 1080p. There are not a lot of reviews for this model, but I would say it is a good buy considering the current state of the GPU market. The 9070 is a better choice at MSRP, but good luck finding a 9070 at a decent price at the moment.

I had gotten an MSI version from US-MSI store for this price. Then they sent it where it required a signature. I wasn't home waiting on them all day so it got sent to a holding area. I gave up trying to find it so it got sent back to MSI. I had to file a BBB and get paypal involved to finally get my money back. I was getting worried
