I bought one last time, seems the label fades away quickly under the sun.

I have something similar from polono. They're handy if you don't have a good alternative. At $9, price seems good

Max width label is 12mm. I use the Nelko P21 and that uses 14mm width labels. Even at 14mm it's too skinny.

I have the same Nelko, love it. It is skinny though, I couldn't imagine 12mm

I imagine most of the cost will be in the replacement labels?

Have you found a way to get knock off labels to print?

Labels fade fast so these are ok for temporary use, otherwise laminated brother are both better and the label tapes are cheaper on Ali for like $2 for 12 meters.

I want to use this to relabel my LG Washer control panel. Has anyone used the clear labels for this?

I have had mine for like 6 months, and none of my labels have faded. I mostly use them in a place with not a lot of sunlight and a pretty cool place.

I read in another thread that these ping to their servers to check if you're using labels from them. I checked my DNS logs and indeed it pings several of their servers when you launch the app, I blocked all of them. I'm still on my original roll of labels but when I launch the app, it no longer knows what labels I'm using but instead asked what size label I was using, still prints fine. Not sure what will happen when I use third party labels but I expect it will still work fine as long as you purchase labels that are the same size.

Does anyone know of a different product that doesn't fade or fade fast, and low price for device and roll. I am open to aliexpress and willing to wait longer time for delivery. Any recommendations or link is appreciated. Thanks

Yea.. cancelling the order for this reason. Not worth it. I want a good product. I dont understand why its so hard for existing label makers that can create the two layered label that is water and oil proof, also bluetooth and inexpensive. A new tape is also $10. They're using the sales to get people hooked into buying $10 tapes that should cost a max of $5.
