There's a free bring it to your room and unbox it option that's usually $29 extra. You can return it instantly if it doesn't look right.

I've had this tv for about a year. Bought from BB for $2k.

I'm very happy with it....it's insanely bright.

edit: I have the 85u8k, so this one is newer.

I paid $1699 for this TV from BB a few months ago. Worth every penny I paid, and certainly worth it for $200 less. And agree with the comment above. The brightness is wild. I'm in a bright room with windows and still keep it under 75%

Was about to leave to pickup an Open Box - Good 85" TCL QM8 earlier for $1145 and decided to call the online sales dept (was a guy working remotely from home) and have them look it up. They were able to tell me it was a display model and was missing the feet and remote. I cancelled it and glad I didn't drive an hour and a half to pick it up. It's too bad they don't list these details on the website.

But you dont even know if what the online sales department told you is right either

I have seen them say they had no accessories...then I arrived at the store and it was complete

You really need to go to the store and look at the item, if at all possible
