Any info on how this compares to other tvs ?

I have been watching the 65 for $419 for a few weeks. Or the 75 for little more

But then I think the 65" q7 is $550

Then the 75" q7 is only $600

However, if we get to $600 the 65 Roku is mini led.

Once again , I stop myself and realize the Qm7 or u7n seem to be much better mini LEDs, but $700

Then there are OLEDs for not that much more than that, and what I really want, but worried about my kids burning in Minecraft UI

Help my analysis paralysis please !
Buy mini-LED. Do not waste your money on anything less.

Yep. I saw this the other day and at first was wowed by the price but then I realized it was the Q7 not the QM7. We already have the 85" QM8 from last year but this would have been a nice upgrade for the bedroom or playroom if it were mini LED. QLED alone doesn't make it worth it. I already have a TCL 55" QLED from several years ago. There's no reason to replace it with the same, even with the newer features and formats if it's not mini LED.

I'd wait for a MINI-LED TV. Tomsguide has the mini-LEDs besting OLEF in multiple ways.

If you buy 5 you can get them for as cheap as $410 each including tax.

.... Me and my buddies bought 4 of the 55'' Q77s about three weeks ago. Those came down to 215 each. Great budget tvs!

🔥 TCL 85Q77K is the clear winner at this price. You're essentially getting a premium mid-range TV at a budget price. Here's why it's the better value:⸻✅ What Makes the TCL 85Q77K Superior at $799: • Much Higher Peak Brightness (~1,000 nits)→ Better HDR, more vivid highlights, and great visibility in bright rooms. • 200+ Full Array Local Dimming Zones→ Better contrast, deeper blacks, and less blooming than Hisense's basic dimming system. • Game Accelerator 240 (VRR up to 240Hz @ 1080p)→ Superior gaming feature for competitive gamers. • IMAX Enhanced, Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and Atmos→ More complete HDR and audio support compared to the Hisense. • More refined build quality and motion handling→ Feels and performs like a more expensive set.⸻🤏 What the Hisense 85QD75N Offers: • Still decent performance for casual users • Native 144Hz panel (TCL is 120Hz native but can hit 240Hz with interpolation or 1080p input) • Google TV, Dolby Vision, and decent out-of-box colorBut at $799, it's simply not in the same performance class as the TCL Q7 series.⸻🏁 Final Recommendation:👉 Buy the TCL 85Q77K.At $799, it's a steal—you're getting near-flagship performance at a budget price, especially in an 85" screen size.

surprised it knows. not even TCL knows of this model (75Q77K). it's nowhere on their website. probably exclusive to Costco and to confuse everyone already trying to figure out their model numbers.

Are you sure that's not the specs is the TCL Q7? There are no specs out for the q77k anywhere.

Where are you getting your 85Q77K info/specs? I know the previous generation Q7 has local dimming, but TCL does not mention local dimming on this 2025 Q77K series.

Killer deal if this is true, but I'd like to see a few sources before blindly trusting the 'AI'.
