Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank vid1900

These have REALLY strong retention ball springs.

I'd oil them, with light oil, while depressing the ball; so the oil enters the cavity. Should last forever that way, without corroding.

How are you getting $13? Also, shipping cost needs to be added +$10. total =. $28.71. = Not a slickdeal.

$18.72 where I live in northern lower Michigan.

EDIT: I checked some locations in southwest Michigan near the Indiana border since I'll be traveling down that way this weekend but I still got the same price of $18.72. In fact, it was the same price in Northern Indiana as well.

Same price here in Naples Florida too. I go shoe free shopping at that price.

They are $18.72 for me here in Illinois. They also aren't in stock at any store near me.

I forgot to mention that in my post but it said something about free shipping as well. I guess it's $5.72 for shipping (13 + 5.72 = my price of $18.72) plus 6% sales tax on that here in Michigan. So, somewhere just south of $20 to get it to my door. Nothing in stock though at all the stores I checked.

EDIT: I checked and a similar kit is $25 at Lowe's and $28 at Ace Hardware. So, $13 for those who can get it as advertised here or $20 in my case is the best price out there. Repped.

I just checked a lot of stores throughout the tri-state area and came to find that if the store had it in stock - basically allowed for order now, pickup tomorrow. The price is $13.xx for store pickup. Anytime it said ship to store or free shipping to home - it was $18.xx. Takeaway here, $13 is legit but only available at store with stock on hand.

Looks like most stores that normally stock the set, will deliver it free next day if you are local to them, even if they are currently OOS.

If you work at a service garage, you can get free same-day delivery, during your normal 2x a day NAPA deliveries.

You would probably want something lighter than Motor Oil.

I just use ZoomSpout oil. Lightweight and detergent free.
