The little remote that comes with it (and is the only way to operate it) is the cheapest remote I've ever owned. Also connecting and reconnecting to Bluetooth is annoying (in part because the remote is terrible)

I got the active ones, they are great, but I do agree about remote and slightly janky Bluetooth implementation
That would give you much more of an improvement in sound imo.
As someone mentioned these are good "for the price".
Kinda agree, you should expect $89 worth of performance with these imo.
