Upgraded to a TP-LINK BE5000 and it was infinitely better, with a LOT of advanced functionality exposed in the app.
Personally, I'll never buy another Arris product again. They're junk.
Aside from outlier insane deals, arris surfboard routers are king of value if you want to escape the monthly subscription of your ISP router. Or if you just want a pretty good router with no care about customizability in a cheap price
