These are purpose built for gravel, mud, and loose trail. Here in CO, these aren't ideal because of the lug depth and heel stack height when trail running on rock.

These are my favorite trail runners by far (also primarily used for rocky trails in CO), and I've worn a lot of different ones over time. So I guess it just comes down to individual preference.

Yup. I wear both this and the ultra 04 and ultra 05 and definitely narrow. I wear a size up on my speedcross 6

Can confirm these are a bit narrow. I usually hike/run in the Salomon XA Pro 3D and these are a bit more narrow for the same size. A half size up might be enough in my case...but the cool thing about the lacing system is that it's easy to loosen up and adjust on the fly.

Speedcross comes with a 2 years warranty as well, not sure if the warranty applies to speedcross from Costco.
