I have this, very nice controller for the money.

Had to upgrade the firmware to get it working with Switch 2 but it was fairly straightforward.

Simply go to support.8bitdo.com and download the updater.

It does not wake the console from sleep FYI.

I think this one doesn't have hall effect sticks, but it does work with switch 1 and 2.

That isn't the Bluetooth one? Is it compatible? Amazon said it isn't with switch.

Wow, great deal for Switch 2 compatible controller, just does not have Hall Effect sticks (drift resistant). Will recommend to get the Ultimate 2C since it has the Hall Effect sticks, which is the better investment.

All the 8BitDo controllers/adapters that are compatible with Switch 2 (via latest firmware updates):

It seems with the Ultimate 2C Wireless is not compatible then? Is Hall effect really that much more noticeable you think as guest controllers for friends for Mario kart.

These are much more comfortable than the two joycons in the black thing. These are larger and have a more natural angle to hold them.
