This was sold for $770 on Amazon 4 months ago. Paying $100 more for refurbished is crazy. If you're set on this unit just keep on waiting.

considering the gift cards and extended warranty with new it makes no sense to buy refurb.

Did you even check or read that post? It hardly got any thumbs up coz the price mentioned wasn't available to 99% of the people. And this deal was also posted just a week ago for $997 new and was very popular: https://slickdeals.net/f/18343066-65-panasonic-z85-oled-4k-ultra-hd-smart-fire-tv-90-visa-gift-card-4-year-warranty-998-free-s-h?sort=oldest&page=4#commentsHeader
In your opinion, that should've been a worse deal for $200 more, right? Make sure you have the complete info the next time you comment.

https://slickdeals.net/f/18405118-65-panasonic-z85-series-oled-4k-ultra-hd-smart-fire-tv-799-free-s-h-after-couponBoom not even 3 weeks later. $67 cheaper and actually new, not a refurb. Your post sucked OP.
