They have an app that can do that on Android. It sucks tho. You need to turn on location and grant it full permissions for it to work
I bought this a few weeks ago from Woot and it worked with my iPhone right away without a firmware update. Maybe something with newer iOS versions made it work?

One main difference is in the way they connect. The 8Bitdo is bluetooth only, while the Backbone is only wired USB-C (there's also a Lightning version for older iPhones). The Backbone also says it has passthrough charging to the device and a 3.5mm audio port. I have no experience using either device. I would prefer to have both wired and Bluetooth options built in for flexibility. Not sure if another controller offers that.
The Backbone is also much more expensive. However there is a Father's Day sale for the 2nd Gen Standard and Playstation versions of it on their website right now for $69.99. No idea if that's a common/good sale price, just happened to see it when looking it up to compare.

Razer Kishi is the answer. I used for many years on my Note 8 until I kinda stopped playing and I think the older model did not work with S22U due to my case but either way it was the best controller for the money you can probably find it cheap if you don't have huge phone.

Perfect, thanks. I still have my beloved Note 8 as a backup device to my S24U now. It's actually one of the devices I was considering using with one of these type of controllers for mobile gaming for my kid while traveling.
