in theory I could buy 3 of these hisense 58 inch roku R6's for one 55 inch hisense GOOGLE version.
Again, this 900 dollar 55 inch Hisense google version is probably great, worth it for some people.
I've got both a U6 and a U8G. The U6 is fine for a dark bedroom if you don't mind the grayish blacks, pretty decent for a $160 set. But the U8G? That thing will sear your eyeballs when a flashlight points at the camera in a movie, maybe a little exaggeration, but it's a beautiful TV.
They follow the same trajectory of price declines every year

Have you ever gone to a Play? Shows look like that. Looks like ur watching a Play. Older shows, tv, you can easily tell the actors, actresses are on a stage with a fake background.
Nervous about it breaking prematurely because is Hisense.
