Just tell CS that the activation form is not letting you port in your google voice number and they'll give you a new number. GV numbers no longer work so they'll just offer to give you a new number.

My wife and I did this deal earlier. Ordering was easy and we each got the Iphone 14 plus. We ported GV numbers, which wasn't horrible either. Then the issues began. Once or twice a week our phones would go into SOS mode and we would spend hours on the phone or chat trying to get the esims reactivated. It was a TOTAL nightmare. When we bought them, it was 60 days to unlock only, no requirement for the 60 days of paid service as well. We fought with them on this multiple times and were basically told tough shit. We ended up paying for the second month of service on each phone. After 60 days, the phones did not automatically unlock. Several more calls and chats, we were told that our phone were not eligible even though we already did the 60 days. We filed multiple BBB and FCC complaints and we finally got the phones unlocked and switched them to Visible. This was our experience and I can only warn any one thinking about Total Wireless that their support is terrible and that's being nice. At this point I would go with ANY other provider than them.

I was able to unlock my 16e by moving service into the lock phone for the second month. My sister uses total so I lend her my phone for a month. Swapping is hassle but didn't have to pay second month

I think it checks if you have service at 60 day or not. Her number was totally different than what I activated with.

anyone know what you can do if we don't port in a number? I'm honestly just giving this as a gift to my grandma overseas and I was curious to see if there's any workaround from that. Thanks in advance guys

Im porting in a GOOGLE voice # that I own with Google, I think I had paid like 5 dollars to own it, I was able to put the # in and it texted me a code and it said its a valid port in, will I have any issues? I just paid the 275 for the phone.

Any way to split payment between a few credit cards? I have an offer on my Chase accounts of 25% off with a max of $15, so I could really sweeten this putting $60 on 4 cards...

Anyone know if you can do the google voice number port hack like with metro-T-Mobile deals?
Not only does it work but you don't actually have to port in your number if you don't want. When the phone arrives and you go to the website to activate it just select the "select a new number" option.

Has to port eligible phone number in order to buy this. How do you skip this step?

You've already paid for it, wait and see.

Does that mean we can use our current phone number to receive a text to authenticate, buy, and when we get the phone, we just choose the 'select a new number' option?

Ordered on Saturday and just received. Only white was available but the phone I received is black (no complaints here).
Wait what? I ordered the white one and received black as well. When I contacted them, they wanted me to return the phone first and wait for 30 days to receive a replacement in white. I tried to argue with them and they were like "fark off", we don't care. This is the first time I've received such a response from a customer service agent.

Isn't the 14+ with one month of service at the same price a a better deal instead?

I got the phone with google voice line and it was awful to deal with. I spent hours on the phone with the worst costumer service. It deactivated the day after and nothing has been right. I would avoid this like the plague.
