Ah, that's a very fair point / question! And sadly, no, it wouldn't.

- 8oz of Fairlife milk provides 13 grams of protein
- The equivalent-to-this-protein-drink 11oz serving would provide ~18g of protein

That's still a good amount, but you're right, not 30g. Hmm.

Note ingredient list (emphasis mine):

ULTRA FILTERED SKIM MILK, WATER, CREAM, COCOA (PROCESSED WITH ALKALI),
POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SEA SALT, NATURAL FLAVOR, LACTASE ENZYME, PECTIN,
SUCRALOSE, ACESULFAME POTASSIUM, MONK FRUIT EXTRACT, VITAMIN A
PALMITATE, VITAMIN D3.

Why not just throw some raw cocoa + allulose + a pinch of salt into an 8oz serving of Fairlife whole milk and you end up with a tasty, healthier, and cheaper option?

Would that get you to 30G of protein? Serious question.

Our sams only has the Vanilla, which are not great IMO. Costco has the Chocolate, which I find better than Fairlife taste wise. They are not near as sweet, I find the Fairlife ones to sweet to drink after a workout.

They are very smooth, which is nice.

I like these. They taste identical to the fair life 30g. Not much of a can taste. It seems like a smaller volume to drink than the fairlife so I like that.
IMHO Fairlife is better because of the thickness and mouthfeel. But Nurri is also very acceptable.

I've switched directly to chocolate protein powder, which is significantly cheaper, but isn't as tasty.

this stuff is good but REALLY wish it didn't have Sucralose. I'm told it's a sweetener that causes inflammation. Do some research if that's a concern for you.
The amount matters. Unless you're drinking multiple of these per day every day, the amount of sucralose is negligible (as it is in most drinks).

My thoughts exactly. At that small oz size no way you'd be at 30g

I have had these back to back with the Fairlife shakes (both from Costco) and these have a significantly worse aftertaste. If I had never had the Fairlife, I would think these are pretty solid, but if you have access to the Fairlife, those are the better option IMO.

Absolutely. My eyes start to water and I start coughing a weird weezy cough and nose dripping within 10 minutes of consuming anything with sucralose and or aspartame.

Chronic inflammation leads to other immune issues. "Sugar-free" is in no way better than something with regular sugar, matter of fact, sugar substitutes have more health issues such as certain carcinogenic properties, and even insulin resistance (the second was disclosed,to me anyway, during Pepsi stock holder meeting documents just few months ago).

Look for products with monk fruit or even small amount of cane sugar instead of substitutes if you consume products like this regularly.

I know it's hard to find clean High-protein substitutes in can version that are decently priced. I use 1stPhorm powder tubs at home and while they do make canned version, it's too expensive.

But the Fairlife have carageenan, which is known to cause GI issues. I used to drink Fairlife and really loved them, until I looked into that.

Boy this is filled with 90's era assumptions and data. In no world is just having sugar better for you than sugar free. Anytime you see someone talk about carcinogenic properties, remember that just about any food can be carcinogenic if you have absurd quantities of it. Man it's gets so old seeing boogeyman posts about sweeteners. If you like a protein drink or diet soda, go for it. It's way better than having sugar filled garbage and being obese. THAT will give you heart issues and cancer, folks.

Some Costco warehouses have the 12/pk for $15.99. I believe the sale ends 6/15. (In-store)

Limit 4 per transaction.

I just bought some yesterday.

I prefer Fairlife. I think there is a difference in taste. These really remind me of the older carton Met rx whey RTD. It's not terrible by any means, but I'll choose fairlife if given the choice.
