They're not great and will likely break bit it's a good bundle. Personally I go with Bosh impact rated

Dumb question but these should be compatible with most other brands of drills, no?

Yes; they get locked in by the chuck like other bits

Yup, got this the other day and thought it was a fairly good assortment for the price. I was going to do something to my car and thought "hey, I can use my new set..." nope. I needed a t30 and 7mm. Neither are in this set. Sad. I had to grab my trusty Craftsman 208 bit set that I got here for $10 many years ago. Considering returning this set and getting one of these instead:

I know that Ryobi bits do not have a good reputation. But, I had this set for ~ 2 years with fairly frequent homeowner-DIY applications and did not get to break anything. I was pleasantly surprised how versatile the set is. For me it was money well spent.

Perfectly serviceable set for the average DIYer. Have had one for a few years and have had no problems with it.

I have a boatload of Ryobi hand and bench power tools some even so old they were made in Japan but their bits are barely worth it if they were free. They're the worse ones I've ever used. Dewalt bits are great, some of my T25 Torx bits have driven in close a 1000 screws and still going.
