Seems like a decent deal overall, with the exception that the LED light is integrated - thus, if the light ever fails for some reason, you cannot replace it, you would literally have to replace the entire fan just to get a working light again.

In theory it's an LED should assuming it was manufactured properly for being enclosed like it is, it should last 15-20 years, but if it doesn't for whatever reason... ugh. I just don't understand why they wouldn't have made it replaceable.

Ships and sold by the manufacturer. Not prime so returns are a headache. This week I tried to return something through the seller, not Prime, a week of back and forth they kept offering me a discount if I kept the item. In the end they charged me $25 for restocking refunding the difference and told me to keep the item.

I have several Chinese DC ceiling fans installed. I prefer them over the ice cream parlor 🍨 style ones you get at Home Depot — I got rid of a Hampton Bay fan that was noisy, uses bulbs, and remote sucked. Cheap to replace though I haven't had to. Silent. Full function remote. The only disadvantage is that they're usually controlled by remote only, not by hardwired switch so no smart integration.

I wouldn't worry about the LED. Chinese fans use standard led plates https://a.co/d/1VeXRCY for example. Mine mounts using magnets https://imgur.com/a/hveOj4M Excuse the wiring I haven't routed it internally yet

have a couple models with integrated LED lights. Going on a few years no failures. Don't expect these to fail either because the unit does not overdrive the LEDs based on what I see with acrylic off - this tends to kill the cheap ones that do.

I'd really like a ceiling fan that works with the casa fan controller and light control, but the DC motor is not able to work with it.

Highly recommended. Install two in my house and it's running 8 hours in the evening keeping us cool the last few days.

Install was fairly straight forward (replaced some old ceiling fans that wasn't working). Didn't require balancing and everything worked right out of the box. Didn't even have to pair the remotes.
