The gasket's airtight seal lasts much longer with repeated use. This style of lid often cracks or otherwise gets loose pretty quick

Ahh thanks so much for your comments… I have been eyeing some glass "Tupperware" containers for food leftovers and reheating but I definitely want to hold out for a quality product that can hold up to use… plus I don't particularly need the baking dishes.

Seals far better when u freeze specifically. No freezer burn vs always getting freezer burn with lids like this. I still use these for refrigerating stuff but far prefer the good seal
