Be careful of the older Fire tablets. If you are using them for Netflix, Hulu or Disney plus for your kids they may not work. Some of those apps require the newest Fire OS and the old Fire tablets have an end of life and will no longer update the OS.

Always strange when half the items in a Woot "sale" seem to be sold out at the get go.

Last two refurb items I bought from woot were not looked at before shipping out. One arrived in a well packed box but had a cracked screen. Other item was a TV that they shipped the remote separate. Remote would not work with the TV. Woot is a clearing house for Amazon defective goods. These do not appear to be tested or inspected in any way. They don't care because they'll just have you return it and then they'll add it to a pallet and auction that off. Buying this junk is no different than paying Amazon to do product return testing.

The discount is applied at checkout. You'd need to go to the page that has the Place Order button after logging in with Amazon to see the discount.
That detail wasnt in the ad initially

Amazon should be paying us to take the Echo Show 8 off their hands. I have one - slow (painfully slow), pretty useless except as an alarm clock and music box. You can watch videos from selected providers on that tiny 8" screen but the Silk browser is not very compatible with other streaming websites.

Keep in mind Alexa + with AI features will be rolling at some point in the not so distant future. I don't think the legacy devices will have the AI feature if that's important to you.

Are those eco show better than my old lenovo/Google smart screen?

Not really. I have Lenovo Smartclock 2 using mostly as alarm clock. I tried Echo 8 it was painfully slow and I saw so many ads on this device I returned it the next day I'm sure there's a way to opt out but it's no better than Lenovo. I don't understand why it's so hard to make a simple alarm clock with some smart assistant. Lenovo has some bugs my alarm didn't ring one time and it looses connection to my WiFi a few times a day.

Just want to use this for displaying all my camera. Is it worth it or better options available for that?

You might want to do a factory reset. Sometimes it helps alot after you used it too long, or when you download things, it might have lots of temp files, cookies, spywares. Maybe when you visited some sites or clicked on some links, it adding more stuffs running in the background, therefore it slow down your device, especially an old cheap tablet.
