I've bought and used these budget rangefinders before. This isn't based on this specific one but they all calculate the distance fine. The name brands are clearer, lock on the pin faster and are just a better user experience like more solid feel and stronger magnets.

I upgraded to a better version and am very happy but I get out 5 times a week. If you're an occasional golfer and just want a no frills distance this will work fine

I don't recommend using on sloped roofs, it didn't work out for the last guy

Ordered one given the price. Seems to be accurate based on reviews and within 1-2 yards, not that I can control my wedge distances that well.Hopefully the slope works, but saw a review that it wasn't always accurate, but I think it's hard to beat for $37. Should perform similarly at least I would think to the redtiger that gets recommended.
