Put 70hrs into it, had 12 crashes and the vampire cure quest is still broken. Deleted after that. It was fun, but I just cant.
edit: PS5

It's on gamepass for those interested. First time playing the game - it's overall good but the devs didn't seem to have fixed any issues from the original game. The leveling system was apparently simplified but it's still weird compared to Skyrim. Supposedly there's a patch coming soon. Fun game but I wouldn't pay $40 right now for what is basically a reskin.

Same. I have completed the original game back in the day, and then checked gameplay reviews. Most of the main bugs were kept, probably on purpose, to stay true to that old quirkiness. It will be discounted further.

Curious, is that animation bug still present? That was notoriously game breaking where after tens or hundreds of hours, a spell cast animation would just get frozen above you forever. It was immensily annoying and a couple community fixes/scripts was what it took to resolve it back in the day.

I played the Tainted Grail demo. I enjoyed it enough to buy it when it goes on sale.

This game has all kinds of stuttering, and it only gets worse the longer you play it. So many of the positive reviews on this are from people who haven't gotten far enough in it to see all the problems. It's like Amazon reviews when someone reviews a product the day they get it, instead of after a month or two of using it.

Good to hear. After I finish Clair Obscur and Doom Dark Ages, it'll likely be my next game.

Running it on a rx9070 well over 100 hours with minimal issues other than screen tearing so I ordered a TCL q7 tv with vrr arriving this Saturday hopefully that helps. Barley even done the main quest still working through tons of side quests.

I can't even imagine how this runs on console. It took every magic trick in the book to hit on the right sequence of settings to make this game run smoothly at over 100fps 1440 and maxed out on a 5070ti/5700x3D. But damn when it runs its looks amazing.

Well, maybe they've done some work on it, but it's something that was pretty rampant, regardless of your setup. Some people just don't seem to notice the problems. Digital Foundry found it very flawed. https://youtu.be/p0rCA1vpgSw?si=AIVwGIuYO-BpTwol

That's what it is and exactly what the oblivion fans wanted. It's worth the $40.

It's a memory leak issue with the console versions of the game. PC is okay.

You can cure vampirism in 2 minutes if you know where to go
