I've been waiting for this for months and it is finally on sale. Great and cheaper color printing for a decent company. I think compatible A1 + AMS Lite is $550 now. IF you want to compare to CoreXY then it's P1S (this printer is not fully enclosed though) then it would be $899 with the AMS combo. I was gonna get a Centurian Carbon but I waited for this since it has multi color even though I print less MC as often but I do change colors and it's a big convenience to not have to swap out the filaments.

The website claims original price will be $549 after sometimes but who knows if that's real. I do think $500 is fair for a nice CoreXY MC 3d printer and this thing apparently can do multiple TPU Filaments which I haven't really tried yet.

Yep, I ordered one on Monday as well. I see me printing still mostly single color items using my other printers but wanted the option for multicolor as well at a reasonable price. I'm just amazed at the amount of waste color printers create so that's always been the turn off for me. Like you I do change colors during a print once in a while and this will facilitate that process. Looking forward to receiving it.

Yes! Awesome! Mine is already shipping even though they wrote 6/20 ship date. I think it is coming from within the US? I see FedEX. hopefully I get it soon and I can do a comparison review!!!

I checked, my FedEx info said it's coming from California. Maybe it was already imported in bulk! Shipping was free too!
Delivery date is 6/17 so it is about 7 days from delivery.

Man, Elon69! You're collecting printers at this point
I think you'll be disappointed in this one vs the Bambu ones you have. This one doesn't add any capability compared to P1S with AMS.

LOL. Well I think P1S is better but it's now $799 so this is half price and it will do just fine.

1. My A1 Mini is failing too often. I got it for like $185 or $200 I forgot

2. A1 is still ok with AMS Lite, although one of the filament motor is failing me $35 to replace

3. P1S is a champ with AMS

I figured $200+35=$235 to fix A1 mini and A1 --- assuming I can't fix the Mini properly (and it's annoying to have to babysit a printer... $399 gives me a new one with "AMS" is fine. I can tinker / spare parts the A1 mini for some other specific prints!

My A1 is having extrusion and adhesion problems. Tried many things and it's getting annoying to babysit every print on it.

Definitely cheaper than $500 or so for the Anycubic Kobra S1 Combo. I don't know how Flashforge compares with Anycubic in general. I'm running an A1 mini, a Kobra 2 Max (which is suprisingly consistent), and three Kobra S1. Of the three Kobra S1, it seems like 1 of them always needs something. ACE not feeding correctly, clogging, or some other damn thing! Two advantages of the Kobra S1 over the Flashforge:
1. Kobra S1 is enclosed, and
2. Kobra ACE unit has a built in filament dryer.

Ordered one. Should be a pretty nice upgrade from my current printer. Looking forward to making some multi color products.

I like it so far, it's pretty loud like a small jet engine while it's printing but quality has been pretty good. I've had a few filament failing in A1/A1 Mini and it works on this machine without any changes. I think parts of my A1/A1 Mini is just having issues, maybe the extruding gear is worn for example!

$399 is a great deal for multi-color.

Just bought this. I've been really wanting to buy a 3D printer for the last year to facilitate some of my other hobbies. I was thinking about getting the 5M that's on sale but for only like $130 more this has more features + the enclosure and can print in multicolor. Time to buy some colored filaments and get hyperfixated on this for like 2 weeks

It's addictive at times to find stuff and just print... sometimes I feel the need to feed models to keep the machines humming!!!

Have you had to do any calibration with the slicer? Can you share some pics of the prints you've done to show the quality of the prints.

No calibrations. I'll look for something that I can share.

This picture is just me putting the item on the A1 to take a picture. It was printed on the AD5X.

This is a laptop holder. I got the model on makerworld.com and just opened it on Orca-Slicer (for AD5X) and printed it. This was new filament out the box, I could have dried it I guess. This filament was some random brand, not Elegoo or something that we see deal often.

The picture is showing a lot more lines than I remember.

I never printed a benchy on this.

Started to see some issues... not terrible but not good for 1s time 3D printer owners if they never troubleshooted printers before.

I just cancelled my order and I'm looking to get into the Bambu ecosystem. Deciding between A1 Combo or possibly P1S Combo. This process has been harder than buying a car ๐Ÿ˜ต ๐Ÿ’ซ
