I got one of these green ones last time the deal was live and while it's a quality controller functionally, the light around the home button is very bright if you play in a dark room- to the point that it was unusable for me without covering with electrical tape.

I got one of these green ones last time the deal was live and while it's a quality controller functionally, the light around the home button is very bright if you play in a dark room- to the point that it was unusable for me without covering with electrical tape.

The model numbers are a bit confusing. Make sure you don't want the "8BitDo Ultimate 2 Wireless" instead. I already have an 8BitDo Pro 2 so I think I'm going to wait for a deal on the high end controller instead of this one.

No, there's very few 3rd party controllers that work with Xbox consoles. When they do, it's usually got a badge like "made for Xbox" and is pretty prominent in the marketing.

Doesn't seem to be a switch compatible. Usually the 8bitdo controllers that are have the Nintendo button layout.

I believe most of the 8bitdo controllers that were switch 1 compatible work with switch 2, but need an update to work, and will not wake the system from sleep. Only the official pro 2 controller will do that and only when docked. Even the switch 1 pro controller, while functional, will not wake switch 2 from sleep.

Got this and was not able to connect to switch 2. How to update if you know? Or are their better generic remotes?

8bitdo confirmed that it's not possible for this version to work with switch. 2c wireless and 2c Bluetooth have different tech in them.

Ultimate 2c "Bluetooth" controller can work with the switch.

No, you need the BLUETOOTH 2C for the switch, and upgrade the firmware for switch 2. I got it early this week and it works fine
