Had the first gen and battery fail right after warranty. Reached out but CS said im just S out of luck. Happened to lot of people and some guy made a tutorial vid replacing battery with ebay one. Maybe new gen fixed the issue.

"Dinky" smh... Have you ever used one? The Roam 1 was a solid speaker, albeit a bit frustrating at times. The Roam 2? "Dinky" is not the correct word at all buddy. 😅

Weird... I was not only outside warranty, but I wasn't even the first owner of my Roam 1. When it stopped holding a charge and then charging at all I reached out & they sent me the Roam 2 as a replacement. I just had to send a video confirming it wouldn't charge. I wasn't expecting a replacement, much less the upgrade. But it was my understanding that the battery has a defect for a lot of them. Which, I'm assuming, is why they were so willing to send me the 2nd Gen as a replacement. I love this one. It's a helluva speaker for being so small.
