Try this topper instead. It's a powder so they can't just eat it and leave the rest. Mix it in. It goes a long way. There's a coupon for 15% off with S&S

Thank you for this, some mornings when he's going to daycare my dog doesn't feel like eating, and I know he's going to have a rough stomach and he plays all day with no breakfast. I've been using some wet food mixed in to nudge him but something non-perishable would be even easier.

The stuff I recommended used to be 100% beef liver and was a slightly larger bottle. I got a few bottles on a SD years ago and still have some. They must have changed it a bit, but it's still limited ingredients. From the pics it looks like it is still a fine powder. There are other brands that are similar but it can be pricey.

But realize that occasionally some dogs just like to skip a meal here and there.

I am aware, but I do appreciate you pointing it out for anyone who might not know that and be concerned. He's always been a grazer, generally I don't care but try to coax him into eating at least a little on days where he goes to daycare. Hours of play on an empty stomach typically ends with him having rocket butt.
