I was able to duplicate this deal. Shelf price tag was still at $40 something, but, self checkout matched the app price of $29.97. Thanks OP.

Best use the Costco app. You can search other Costco near by store availability. I got some last year for $24.97 so didn't buy any this time. There are plenty at my local store.

I bought these after a year of the standard brush heads that came with my toothbrush and these hurt my gums. I tried cutting the yellow floss part out, which helped a bit, but now I'm left with 9 that I don't really want to use. It's likely not the case for everyone, but just a heads up for some.
