The 128gb one I got yesterday showed 2.0 speeds. Tested another brand and speed was fine on the same computer. Looks to be something to avoid

Is this suitable for a dj that just needs to transfer music to and for dj software to read live during a set? Or better off getting something else more reliable? I don't think speed is too much of an issue during a live show, mostly for the impatient when moving songs in down time.

If u wana use this for on the go during ur live sets. Get a faster usb for read write. I use the sandisk extreme pro. Fast transfer/sync on rekordbox . but for general use this is fine just to play ur music this is fine

I would advise you findina more reliable one for a few bucks more. Last thing you want to do is have your USB freeze, loose the whole set list or worse, have the crowd stare at you while there is silence if it fails like mine.

So far, when I buy anything labeled AMAZON Basics, I've bought bottom of the line goods.
As in trash, junk, defective, etc., etc. Until they get they get the News and change policy, customers will be staying away in droves. You should too.
