For those who are not too picky, Costco has the 98 inch qm6k "pro" version which has the upgraded panel, 5 year warranty, and free wall mounting for $1999.99 but I know the q7 might still be better!

The QM7 is the better TV by a large margin and definitely worth it at this price vs the QM6K.

The QM6K Pro at Costco features a matte (anti-glare) display. It's identical to the standard QM6K other than that. The 5 year warranty & included wall mounting are the only advantages of the Costco option.

I just purchased the QM8, and have it connected via Apple 4kTV. Motion processing is not good at all. Watching football game and the. When throwing the ball it's so blurry. Is the QM6k or Q7 the same?

You know what's better then an item in your cart? An item in your home that can be used daily and enjoyed for many years to come! Do it!

Going home to measure now.

For a 98-inch TV, the recommended viewing distance is around 3 meters (9.8 feet).

The space I want to put it in is like 16x12. Might just be too big. Probably why it's open box, lol

I have a QM8 as well and it honestly makes me regret not spending more for a Samsung or Sony, because of the motion.

QM6K Pro is actually on par or better than QM7 unless you are swayed by Youtube influencers. Real world reviews clearly show the difference. Lots of quality issues with the QM7 as well.

You don't need a 98" TV for less than 10 feet of viewing distance. 85" at most, or 75" will be fine.

I'm surprised this is a deal, this TV was $2200 for months at best buy. I picked mine up about 2 months ago for $1599 open box at best buy. It's a good TV but it's no OLED. I have both this and a 77" C2 and the C2 is just perfect, the QM7 has a lot of annoying things (viewing angles, blooming, raised black bars in HDR and took a lot of time to adjust image to look good, it needs adjusting especially red levels in the advance white balance adjustment) that are noticable. That said it's good enough to be enjoyable to watch movies etc and the size is just.... Outstanding lol. It's like 85% of the image of an OLED in a size thats not available in OLED and a price that's untouchable by OLED

Make sure you are updating the firmware from the stock v113 to a newer version, because it makes a huge difference. I am running the V201 firmware on my 98" QM851G using the USB update method. They just came out with v217 as well in the last week, but am waiting until I get more feedback before updating since 201 works well for me. Firmware is the same for the QM7 G series OP posted, so take a look. Here are a few links where you can get calibration settings, firmware downloads and help with questions you may have.

There are settings with the newer firmware versions that will help with the motion issues some are reporting in the 2nd thread I posted below.
