Bought an 82" Q80R in 2019 that was supposed to have(get) eArc but never did. It has the antiglare filter as the living room has a lot of reflection in it and the picture is great, audio not so much due to audio lag unless listening only through TV speakers (works fine via disc through the eArc samsung soundbar).

For ~1100, strongly considered an upgrade for working audio. Need to see if it's as good at anti glare.

I have the Q90 from 2023 and it has the new antiglare coating and its amazing. this is the same top of the line series so i imagine i'd have the same coating.

got my 75" for $1400 and thought it was a steal. $1200 for 85" i might just have to upgrade and move the 75 to another room

Regretting buying the 85" Panasonic W95 for $1000 last week as I absolutely love my 85" QN90A and the picture quality of the W95 is still solid, but not quite as bright or inky black.

I almost bought it, still loving my qn90a, but the 4 port of hdmi 2.1 is tempting. I will wait for the QN90F..maybe.

edit: Bought it, after a cashback popped up for additional 60 dollars off.

Beware the 85" QN90D has a different antiglare layer compared to the smaller sizes. It causes rainbows spread across the screen for reflected light, rather than dimmed clean reflection. It's similar to the QN90A and QN90B. It's very different compared to the Q90R.

https://www.samsung.com/us/shop/o...workplace/

Enter your workplace email domain, for example, say, .com, enter "work.com" in the above link and it will tell if it is EPP eligible or not.

How do you trade in a TV? Do you ship it back?

They said to have it ready when the person delivers it. They may also provide return label. I'll print the return label and give it to the shipper.

EDU is college email I believe, EPP is Perkspot, Perksatwork…basically if you work for a big company they offer discounts at major retailers. When my company offered it, I used to get emails once a week. There was also a method to become a AAA member for a month - which costs like $10 or less - & that would entitle you to EPP discount. I never used that trick so no clue if it still works.
