When I look at cookware, I focus on the coating. After doing some research, this appears to be PFTE based even though it says "PFOA, PFOS, and PFTE free." There is a temperature limit of 446 farenheit listed under the product description which aligns with a PFTE based coating. Heating above that temp releases toxic fumes in PFTE based cookware. The description also states the material as PFOA free. PFTE based cookware is PFOA free. I prefer ceramic, but it's less durable and more expensive but no danger of overheating.

Or just go stainless. Much safer.

Yes. Stainless is a good option. I like to use aluminum with a silicone baking mat if nonstick is needed.
