I have it and it's fine. I'm not vacuuming my whole house with it though. For occasional use vs a dust buster this is way better. The ability to use batteries instead of having a fully functional handvac die and the only option to replace the battery costs half the price of the vac makes it a deal to me. It's more powerful than the B&D lithium duster buster and comes with some decent attachments. If I didn't own a crapload of 20v dewalt batteries then maybe it wouldn't be that great of a deal, if you do though I think it's worth the $99 (less occasionally for refurbs on ebay).

I'd add it is really noisy, like "wear chainsaw earmuffs" noisy. Does the job though, and useful to have the ability to swap batteries.

Been using this occasionally for a few months and it's pretty good. Would recommend getting the rigid floor vacuum head from home Depot. It fits on the end and has way better swivel than the one that comes with it

Yours must be defective or have sensitive ears because mines not loud like that at all.
