If this adapter is not a good choice, what would you recommend for a EPOS PC38x to Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra? I would appreciate your insight.

If you don't need the separate mic input you should get the Apple USB-C DAC dongle.

Appreciate the link, but then it would look like an apple cable. 😂

I think the Apple one is just an adapter. This is essentially a USB sound card.

I'm so confused right now. Are peeps still using wired headphones? What's next to comeback 80s shoulder boomboxes?
All the cool kids are using wired. The Wall Street Journal told me so. https://www.wsj.com/style/fashion...1636753407

Its so weird...I didn't even know these existed. And never saw a slickdeals post for one. But I've been shopping in the past few days. Bought the USB-A version of this two days ago. And now, this post. Are others working on the same Pi project as me, after buying the Pi 4 deal, and that's why it was posted and getting traction? Or is this just random coincidence, or me simply not noticing FP deals on 3.5mm usb adapters until I went shopping for one? Or is the OP a bot that was triggered by internet activity?

Regardless, very strange experience for me... Huh

BirdnetPi - it listens to birdsong and identifies the species, and charts what it identifies. Someone else recommended it, and it seemed like something fun to do. I have a threatened but non-native species that lives in the area - I'm curious to track this, and see what else it identifies. For a couple of reasons, it needs to be a 3.5mm aux mic connected to a USB sound card, hoping the USB-A version of this will work for me, and that it produces interesting results...
