No Atmos on any & only Dolby Vision on 2 discs....

Same price at Walmart and you can save another 15% (over $6) if you use Capital One Venture shopping....

Now that makes it a pretty good deal

Bear in mind that another Jurassic Park movie is coming out this year, so this box set won't be complete.

Came here to say this, is it really the ultimate edition if it is rendered incomplete in the first year?

Most likely just selling off stock bc there will be a newer hyper special edition for us to buy.

They are dts:x it's an upgrade from the old audio track and is still an object based immersive track.

Unfortunately most the transfers aren't that great.
Haven't found a X that has been as good as Atmos, including these imo.

If you have a high end audio setup using an audio processor like a Theta Casablanca or Trinnov Altitude, DTS X is superior as it is objected based.

Atmos is also an object based surround codec.
In my experience in general I have found that Atmos provides a more accurate object based surround than X.

This is more on the transferred metadata content and not the processor/receiver.

I believe there are facebook groups you can join to buy/sell/trade digital codes.

The first fast and furious 4k bd uses dts:x and I've never heard that movie sound so alive and active. It might be a bit much at times, but it's definitely more impressive then the old track by a good margin. The atmos track in the netflix streamed version was abysmal in comparison.

I agree, X does tend to run "hot".
As for immersive surround, Atmos creates a more accurate immersive surround imo.

Streaming vs disc in any format is no contest, streaming is vastly inferior.
So much so it actually doesn't take advantage of Atmos/X TBH imo.

The folks at Kaleidescape ( if their product qualifies as streaming) would probably disagree.

lol that is not streaming!

People have a cow about paying $350 for a player, they would have an elephant with Kaleidoscope!
