Supposedly the performance leap from the G4 to G5 is the biggest in years specifically in brightness
The price has followed a similar discount timeline as G4 and has been priced nearly identical. When it gets as old as G4, it will be discounted like that. It's priced as expected for a 2 month old TV.
G Series comes with a custom flush wall mount instead. The G series is the Gallery series, so they do give you something to put it on, but it's a wall mount instead of stand.
