Nice price - lowest i've seen in a while. Free shipping is great, but tax to LA where im at brings it closer to 165. Still a solid price though, quite tempting.

Try getting into long range shooting/marksmanship. It's known to be a very inexpensive hobby 😂

Yes you do. Otherwise you'll probably end up on a federal watch list.

I thought this was used for surveying, like for construction or landscaping primarily. I had not considered shooting applications as a city dweller!

Every hunter and golfer has a rangefinder. You can get them from every sporting goods store in the US.

You keep thinking that hoss. Certainly it couldn't be your joke that missed the mark.

Go ahead, explain what we couldn't comprehend. I want to hear you say it. Due for a good laugh.

"i am not going to explain my joke that falled flat on its face because i will expose how bad the joke was in the first place."

this is grade school level behavior.

primary uses are hunting and shooting. both with guns and archery. golfers use them but if im not mistaken they are slightly different on what they will pick up/ignore for reading the distance. aka, hunting rangers want to ignore sticks... golf versions want to pick up the narrow flag/pole.

they are used to do rough estimates/surveys as well. getting the distances between buildings and other structures is super quick if you dont need them super accurate. aka, when i do inspections for civil engineering, its a good, quick way to ensure things we designed were built approximately to size.

if you dont know you need one, you probably dont.
