This shows 32GB RAM on the product page. Seems to be pretty decent specs for this machine, but I don't know a lot about computers anymore. I know Newegg (the eBay seller) isn't great, but there's a one year warranty through eBay. Thinking about replacing my old beater laptop with this. Anyone with considerably more knowledge on this than me have any reasons to avoid?

I don't know much about this brand, but I do know specs aren't everything. When it comes to a laptop the design of heat dissipation can have a huge impact on its performance.

as far as the specs go, I think it's pretty decent. a 3070 ti is behind the 40 series, and behind the Now 50 series. so it's kind of old

Because it's a creator laptop, not primarily a gaming one. And for that 3070 Ti is very much adequate for that.

I am gonna say the same thing I said on the last post of this promotion, people complaining about "60 hz" and whatnot on a computer with these specs for $800 are delusional lol. Have you guys seen how much the new 5070 laptops are costing for subpar specs and pretty mediocre build quality?! This 3070ti performs almost the same as the 5070 minus the new DLSS techs, for this price though is an insane deal. BTW the screen is among the best I have ever seen and while the 60hz can be a bummer, the image quality is stellar.

Not only gaming but general use , 120hz is just much more eye pleasing and overall feel. Id rather have 1080p @120hz than 4k at 60hz..

I have this laptop and the screen is unbelievable! If you install the gaming driver instead the current games play at 1080p at 60 fps no problem. Many games will play at 60 fps at 4k with medium settings.
