Saw this in the Citibank rewards website and with upcoming long weekend, sounded like it can be useful for anyone still planning. Also one thing I noticed from a month back, the hotel prices also seem to have dropped a bit.
I would never book a hotel through Citi Travel again.
Not only are these "discounts" largely fictional, Citi books everything through a variety of "travel partners" that sometimes fail to disclose fees. The cancellation policies are also sometimes misrepresented, and Citi Travel customer service is downright terrible. They don't take responsibility for anything, including their own mistakes. Not. Worth. It.

I checked for the same hotel price from other website like Expedia and kayak. Same or similar price and also has the same cancellation details offered. Since I had a bunch of rewards points wanted to use them. They claim to be powered by Agoda travel website which has decent rating.
Citi Travel is booking.com. It really is awful, but I have a prestige card that gives me the 4th night free; so occasionally I will use it at a non-chain hotel when it makes sense
