Yeah by all accounts modern GoPros are junk and crash/overheat. Anyone familiar with the space have a recommendation for an action cam in this same price bracket? I see Insta360 and DJI often in the conversation but not sure which would be ideal for recording MTB rides.

Get bundle on Best Buy for $50 more with a $50 gift card. Got another for my wife. Never had issues with crashing or over heating.

Thank you for the useful response. How does one get the $50 gift card? I don't technically "need" one for a few months but if I can get a $50 gift card, I'm pulling the trigger.

Edit: Nevermind. I found a bundle through Costco for $319 that included 2 batteries, carry case and 128GB memory card.
