$500 worth for $350, not bad. Used the same deal for a 2bay 2hr birthday party. Edit: gift cards can't be used to buy Callaway clubs from them.

That's a slightly worse deal.

If you spent $350, you'd get $490 of credit.

With the Costco deal, spending $350 gets you $500 of credit.

They let you because the rules say it can't be used towards parties? "Cannot be used toward payment for parties, events or Platinum memberships"

I should have typed it better. I don't use it to pay towards platinum membership. I just use it for food.

Yes, I used some of the balance to pay for the reservation, then used the remaining balance towards the bill at the end. It was the 2 bay package deal last September.
