The resolution is 1200p (16:10) not 1080p.
It qualifies for Chromebook+ with the 1080p webcam and 8GB RAM.

As long as you don't have any expectation for the screen (color gamut is a abysmal and relatively low res), it's not a bad choice given it's supported through 2032, so 7 more years to go.

You can even install Windows 11 on it (coolstar.org) even though 8GB and Windows 11 might not be the best match. (I haven't tried)

A better choice would be a light weight Linux Distro with a low resource DE like xfce.

So I got the Chromebook. Have you done the Windows install? Is it easy? Do you have to purchase a win11 license? Im debting if its worth it. I went to the site but the directions are not as clear.

Do you know if you can have win os and chrome ride side by side?

oof Intel UHD Graphics 630..from 2017? didn't realize they were still making cpus with anything less than xe U_U;;
UHD 630 is enough to play games like Skyrim, and some emulators.

But that detail is just plain wrong, because the i3-1215U has Intel UHD Graphics 64EU, which IS based on Xe, is from 2022, and should be significantly faster:
