Collagen in conditioner is news to me, would it only be for your hair or also benefit your whole body from entering your skin? Thanks

Collagen is needed inside the body, not on hair (physically). Hair is dead, the cells aren't alive like your skin. That's why these cosmetic products get applied over and over. The hair structure isn't improved and reinforced.

Taking biotin as a supplement would be better.

Yes but it would sink through the pores/skin no? Maybe i'm just being dumb, i'm after the collagen bonus not biotin, would be cool if it worked instead of taking the powder.

Anything taken orally will always be better than topically.

I know this personally from usage of minoxidil -- where the effectiveness is much greater with the pill, because it goes systemic (but also stronger sides). Topical stuff can be uneven in application, or not strong enough in effectiveness to see any results. Basically, you will be lucky to see any results from topical collagen usage.
