Check your invoice if you bought from Amazon. I thought mine was new but when I checked the invoice, it says used.

This is a really great monitor, I picked it up at this price a few months ago and highly recommend it. 1440p is still the sweet spot for gaming these days, and it's still plenty sharp for work and productivity use. Alienware/Dell warranty and customer service is very good as well.

The description on the right side of Amazon page said it is "Used: Like New". This is not a deal for new monitor.
