For the price, absolutely fantastic. It's big and it works well.

Now if you're looking for top of the line, inky blacks, VRR, local dimming, 120hz, etc etc, this isn't it.

If you just want a large screen to watch things on, it works absolutely fine. I bought one for the guest room, and it's honestly a lot better than I thought I'd be getting for the price.

Are these TVs any good? I'm not familiar with Onn as a brand.

I mean, it depends on what u mean by good. I bought one of these ONN TV for bedroom, where the TV gets used sometimes and it's fine. I paid an extra 15 bucks or so for an additional 3 year warranty, and it was needed within 4 months. The display died, but they changed the entire display. Since then, there have been no issues.

Just don't use this as ur main tv in the living room or something, and ur expectations will be met.

Onn seems to be hit or miss according to reviews, but I've personally had good luck with their products and would recommend them for those budget minded. Bought a 42 inch Roku tv in the brand back in 2020 when they were giving away tvs like tic tacs around the holidays…and it's still going strong no issues. Use their wireless sports headphones regularly, have a few of their charging accessories. Haven't had any issues yet. At least speaking for my experience, they seem to be a reliable value brand.

I like them. Had one go out, get the warranty. But $298 is not a slick deal, that is the regular price.

I bought one of these in 2020 and sent it to Jamaica to my moms house. Lasted well until the earthquake in 2023 knocked it over. I'd buy again. But bought in Black Friday 2020 for $200 I think.

As others have mentioned, this is junk. For a tad more, get this one at your local Costco if you have a membership. It includes a 3 year warranty. And it qualifies for Costco Direct Savings on a number of other items.

You get what you paid for.....
This TV is comparable to an Element TV.

Onn brand is usually off, if you know what I mean.
