The Slickdeals way...make sure to drive at least 30 miles out of the way to find a BP station to partake of this deal...and then find out the location is not a "qualifying" location.

why is bp in lowercase?
Because that is how the company does it.

If you meant to ask why bp chose that way, here is a link with more information:

Can you share a specific source that it came from?

I cannot find this offer on your linked page, nor the site mentioned in your quote.

The linked page is titled:
Prime Day is back July 8-11, with double the days and millions of deals
So I ctrl+F searched for "fuel" and no results on that page.

The mentioned site "amazon.com/fuelsavings" talks only about their June deal.

Can you link to the deal info another way?

I also conducted a Google search, but it yielded no results.

My mistake, it is in a different link. I originally found the deal at the original link I posted by clicking through to the below link.

So do you have to sign up for Earnify to get this deal? It says link your Prime account to Earnify to get 5/10/20 cents off but then says in the FAQ that the app is optional. I like this deal but do not want to sign up for another app to get it. Just another deal to harvest your data!

This sucks for those of us (roughly) west of the Missouri river. There are no bp / Amoco stations and the AM/PM on the west coast aren't included in this as they're owned by Arco (Marathon) instead. This only covers roughly half of the country.

How do you utilize this deal? At first I thought it meant by using an amazon credit card, but that doesn't seem to be it.

How can we tell which am/pm locations participate? Most of the am/pm locations I see have shell or mobile branded gas. Does that mean they don't participate?

  • link amazon acount to earnify
  • use app to find gas station
  • when you've pulled up at the pump, enter pump number
then i guess proceed as normal

some previous threads, one of them seems to suggest that using the app is optional

Hardly worth the squeeze here, just go to Sam's or Costco. I know it's a $1 but almost not one here is putting the max of 35 gallons in one fill and you have to go to an overpriced seller, plus not all stations are participating, plus you need to install an app, plus you got to link a credit card to your app. No thanks.

I have done it with 20c off friday. It goes as you described. Don't need to use amazon credit card but need to install earnify app. Also need to store min. 1 credit card in earnify app.

good reading though. my guess was right. they just tried to get away with the British word, to fool people of course.
