I do have used gildan heavy cotton from Michaels where every day price is $3. They last few washes after which it comes lose around neck. And overall, it doesn't look sharp like a polyester cotton blend would look. I use those as undershirt or as something to wear at home after work so it gets the work done. But no way, I would wear those to work. They look cheap.
I think they are great for everyday wear.
