Ok update.
It does Work with the amazon alexa app. But now you have to Activate the skill. Once skill is activated you also have to use skill to register. (email address and shipping address)

Once it is all activated and registered then you can use the app to ask for free samples.

Not a requirement to do on an actual physical Alexa device. Amazon Alexa Android app works.

I have been able to get 5 things from this site without using Alexa. I will not use Alexa, or the app.

my alexa (iphone) so dumb and does not recognize this even i had registered send me a sample skill on my account... i thought amazon developed generate ai as well? why alexa still so dumb?


edit: i just kept saying it over and over and after about 7 or 8 tries, it worked! lol

I couldn't get any of my devices, including the app, that have recently upgraded to the new Alexa+ to active the skill. I had to go to the my first Alexa that's a gen one to get the sample.

You can just type the request into the Alexa app. You don't have to say it.

anyone get any sort of email confirmation? used Alexa app yesterday and got confirmation (took screenshots) but seem to recall email confirmations for prior Send Me a Sample requests, but maybe it's only after it sips?
