Make sure you use camelcamelcamel or Keepa on any items you want to buy. Amazon has a habit of raising the base price of an item and then "discounting" it back to the original retail price and calling that a deal. It's great for fooling people who don't pay attention to price histories just look at the shiny red numbers and think they are getting a bargain.
