These are driving bits, not drilling bits. You wouldn't use them with a hammer drill function.

I've heard everything from "Ryobi bits are trash" to seeing a video where project farm said they were the best bang for the buck. I'm a huge Ryobi person but I bought makita bits because they were highly acclaimed. Never heard about these diamond bits though. Does anybody know?

Diamond bits offer the most grip of any style tip. But, Only 12 of the bits are actually Diamond coated.

They rusted for me (a non-diamond set) but I'm in Florida

Keep in mind only a handful of the bits are actually diamond grit enhanced (Couple each 2" long robertson/torx and 4 each of 1" long and 2" long ph2, so 12 of 52 pieces?). I bought a 4 pack of the PH2 x 2" for about 6.50 and a 2 pack of the PH2 x 6 which at least now are 10 bucks, and they're great. This is probably the first time I've seen a diamond grit set with enough bits (and an assortment of types instead of all Phillips) in diamond for a good price though normally you get 4 or 8 ph2 only, you're getting the diamond grits for a good price and the other 40 for free if you want to look at it that way. They seem to be great, I haven't used them a ton but they really do seem tougher than standard bits and grip well.

I broke a ton of these bits when using them with my ryobi impact... I probably won't be buying them again.

There isn't a brand of bit I haven't broken. Adjust your expectations, or be more cautious. I just buy all of them when on a big discount.

In my view, Impact Drivers are the best things since canned beer for fasteners, but I'd never use them on straight, phillips, or square bits. Impact Drivers excel at internal & external hex bits as well as torx bits.

I had something awhile back that was difficult to drive and when regular Phillips cam'ed out, I got a diamond coated one and a new screw. No discernible difference in that instance.

In my experience they're garbage. Broke three working on a very low-impact project. They went back to Home Depot the next day. Just don't.

This is the impact driving set not drill bits. I would said they drill bits are definitely trash. I bought some before for wood. It stuck at the middle and took me a long time to took it out. Tried another hole it is the same. Later on I change other brands it works without any issue. Even those craftsman ones I bought 20 years ago works much better that it.
