Some don't though, I got one that forms a wifi group with the phone and let the phone do whatever it likes

It has a built in FM transmitter it seems, so you can connect to this and then set your car radio to the frequency. No idea how well this works, but FYI

Really cheap if you must need this for a car that doesn't have any sort of navigation, but something that'll be annoying is this doesn't look to have auto dimming. without that it's really annoying because it won't auto adjust when it's dark or night be too dark during the day.

With my galaxy phone, I can connect to 2 BT devices/speakers at the same time and control the volume on each device too. So unless this has really crappy BT, I think BT 5.0 or higher is required for dual play, you can connect to this and your BT enabled stereo

Edit: it has aux out, not sure if it'll output music from your phone. FM fidelity really isn't great in general

Edit: bought it and the 3 yr asurion warranty, bit thinking 2 yr warranty would be enough since it's going to crap out by then.

Careful with cheap units like these. They don't tell you the hardware specs for a reason. These types of headunits have Android running on the backend. Android needs a bare minimum of 8 CPU cores and 4GB RAM for it to be useful. Otherwise, it'll lag and be unresponsive to the touch.

Don't you know an inch makes a big difference!😂 But I don't need to tell you it's not about the size but what it can do. I'm planning to put this on a goose neck for a semi-permanent install for an older vehicle.
