How is Q Revo compared to ECOVACS DEEBOT X2 Omni Robot? I bought the Deebot x2 at ~$200. It has a camera and LiDAR. I haven't tested it yet but I'm curious about Q Reve since Roborock is a better brand than Ecovacs

I hadn't planned to use mopping, but since the Q5 Max+ (no mopping - at least by default as I understand, looks like an accessory buy may be able to add it) was sold out I ended up buying the Q7 Max+ (with mopping) on the last deal. I figured I'd give it a shot since I had the feature, and was pleasantly...grossed out by how much the mop picked up.

After that trial run I went ahead and set up no-go zones in the app to avoid rugs/carpet when the mop is attached. It was pretty easy to do, and now I can run a full vacuum of everything or attach the mop and it will just avoid those areas.

If you have carpet and tiles, only S8 pro is for you. Then again, at $500 you WILL find better vacuum.
If you are picky about corners or mopped corners, none of this is a DEAL.

S8 Pro Ultra at 500 is a decent deal but it's a bit outdated now. I would rather get the Dreame X30/X40 for that price with extending brush and extending mop features and hot water heating.
Only problem is no one can beat the reliability of Roborock.

When I received my "refurbished", it was 100% new. Had all the peels on it, and not a spec of dust. Works very well, great deal.

So, for the uninitiated, what is the best I can buy for vacuuming carpets, wood floors, and tiles, as well as mopping tiles and wood floors? I'm looking for something that is at least somewhat effective at cleaning corners and edges. The budget is around $500.
